I thought he’d be there or thereabouts. Last time at the Curragh the heat got to him and I was a bit worried about the heat today but he was alright.

Colin (Keane) was good and strong on him and it was a good effort off that rating. When the bell goes (in the parade ring) and the jockey gets up he can be funny, but when he gets out and is going he is 100 per cent. We'll take it as we find it and even last year he was improving and appears to have improved again. He is a fair horse, he can win from five to seven (furlongs) and has plenty of pace and stays. Hopefully we'll have a good summer with him.

he ran a cracker here last week and I thought Sam was brilliant on him. He gets on well with him. He takes his racing very well and is as hardy as they come. He can go five, six or seven and is very versatile ground wise. Since I put the tongue tie on him he’s turned inside out winning three times and been placed. He used to act up in the stalls but the hood seems to have sorted that out.

After race at Listowel Tue, 22nd Sep, 2020 (1st)
He fell on his backside leaving the parade ring and the young lad came off him but that makes up for it. That is Sam's first ride for me, he is based up the road from me at Ger Lyonses and he gave him a good ride. He probably got a bit of a fright before he left so I'm delighted for him. I told him to jump and let him go and is the sort of horse if you take a pull out of him he'll sulk with you. Leigh Roche rode him the last day at Navan and said to do that. Frank (Lynch) his owner wanted to try him over seven (furlongs) and I was worried whether he'd stay or not but it has worked out.

After race at Curragh Fri, 9th Aug, 2019 (1st)
He was unlucky last night (in Leopardstown) but that’s the way it goes. I wasn’t sure about the ground tonight as he never really ran on anything worse than good, but he’s a big strong horse and I was happy enough to let him take his chance. He can be a bit of a monkey in the stalls and acted up in Limerick and Down Royal. That’s why he’s loaded last. Billy (Lee) said he doesn’t do a thing when he hits the front.

After race at Sligo Tue, 18th Jun, 2019 (1st)
He was working well at home but I wasn’t one hundred per cent sure what to expect. I bought him privately and he’d good form as a two-year-old. He’d one run this year and there was obviously something amiss looking at his two-year-old form.
