She was very slick at the last and that was probably the difference between winning and losing. We were fortunate the winning post came soon enough. The prize-money is good and we took our chance on the ground. She would prefer more of a test of stamina. We will keep our options open with her on the Flat and the Cesarewitch is a likely target. She’s plenty big enough to go over fences next year.

She was disappointing the last day but did it well tonight. She ran no race the last day but at least left that run behind her and she's a grand mare. The rain did her no harm and she had been running through the winter as a hurdler and probably liked the ease in the ground; she also had winning course form.

That was great. It was the plan to come here and we got the rain that she needed so it worked out great,. She would have liked a lead at some point and got a bit lonely in front but she won and carried top-weight. For a four-year-old she's still a bit green in front. I have two races in Galway in mind. The mile-and-a-half and the GPT. It depends on the handicapper and the weather.

She is a big mare, 17.1 hands on the stick and is still only a baby and was very green in front. She is a very smart jumper and we'll go to Galway next before possibly going to Roscommon (for the first three year old hurdle).
