he is a great old favourite and Donagh gave him a peach of a ride and is a top class rider. Donagh won big pots for me as a claimer and has been coming in to me a few days a week recently. He'll ride mine along with Danny Mullins, Bryan Cooper, Shane Fitzgerald and some other lads. The horse will mix between hurdles and fences for the summer but is better over fences. It has been a great start to the season, it's grand to get going again.

I'm a neighbour of Jimmy Mangan's and ride out for him and ride a horse for him in a point-to-point tomorrow. I go to John (Ryan) two days a week and this is great. I finished my Leaving Cert in June and ride out in a few different places. My brother John got me into John Ryan's yard so a big thanks to him. The race went great. it was a great performance but today is all about Brian Barry. To get a winner at Listowel for that kid is magic and he gave the horse a great ride. He will be a star of the future. Father Jed won't be going to Cheltenham but he's not too bad!

He got an injury and it took a few runs to get him back,. He'll be a lovely horse over fences, he's a really good jumper. I'm delighted for Tommy Brett, he's with me most mornings and he's a great lad. It's great for him and it's great when everything goes right. He'll go on a little softer than that. He's a nice horse, it probably wasn't the strongest of races and I wouldn't want to get too carried away but he won anyway and I'm not too worried about what's behind him. He's not the quickest in the world but he's not too bad and he'll be better over fences.

They went plenty quick and it suited him and Danny gave him a super ride. He didn't panic round the back and was ice cool,. I hope he'll win again at this level and he also jumps well and can go chasing. He is in at Clonmel on Thursday but will hardly run and might go to Listowel instead.
