I'm fortunate to be able to ride in the family colours and I'll tip away and try to get a few more. I'm in college in UCD and being able to do this on the side suits well at the moment. I ride out with Gavin Cromwell, am hoping to get experience race-riding and will keep riding as an amateur. Dad (prominent owner Chris Jones) had planned to go on holidays from a while ago and flew out this morning but will be happy out regardless, as the horse has won. the horse has been keeping the best of company and that is a great start to the season. The horse deserves to win a big one and that'll help with his confidence. it's great for Andrew and while his father had great success over the years with the likes of Klairon Davis, this is the winner he'll get most pleasure out of. He gave him a lovely ride - the horse was keen but he didn't panic and was following the right man in Harry Swan (on Minella Mate). He knew he was on the fastest horse in the race and waited until he got balanced straightening up. His parents had booked a holiday so flew out this morning but Andrew won't mind!

He jumped great apart from the last one down the back. I’m delighted with him and he’s a class horse.

He was second in a Triumph Hurdle so he was entitled to do that, . He's a horse that will probably stay further in time. Davy said he is a different horse this year - he looked a different horse, he's a lot stronger. He jumped and he did everything right. They went a fair gallop and I knew he would come on a bit. We will have plenty of fun with him this year.

We think he is a nice horse. He'll come on a tonne from the run, you could see he was behind the bridle the whole way and kept picking up. We think he could be okay. He hasn't been on grass at all. He'll go on anything if its not the two extremes - bottomless heavy or too quick. Bryan (Cooper) says it is beautiful ground there. You can't stress enough that this is the first time the horses are getting on grass so I thought it was a good performance. Fairyhouse looks the obvious place to go with him. Chris (Jones) deserves every bit of luck he gets as he invests a lot into the game. He's a big owner.

He's a nice horse. He does everything right,. We did a few bits with him at the backend of last year and then gave him time off. We decided to come here when we saw this maiden. If he's not sold he could be a lovely horse for a juvenile hurdle. That's his first racecourse gallop and he'll come on a fair bit. Tim (O'Driscoll) and Roger (Loughran) are good friends and I think Roger might own a little bit of him.
