He was entitled to win one of those and hopefully he might get another one, maybe chasing. Sean was very good on him today. I'd say he's a horse that's a bit nervous in among horses and if he is able to dictate, like he did today, he's a happier horse. Every one of them is deeply appreciated.

After race at Navan Sat, 18th Jan, 2020 (1st)
Staying is his forte. He is bred to stay and he is a stayer and today was his best day jumping by a long way,. He ran in Limerick over Christmas when we thought he had a chance but Limerick can be extremely tough going and today suited. It was a handicap and he was rated lower than his hurdles rating and Eoin claimed 7lbs as well. Eoin has already ridden a winner, second, third and fourth for me and has been lucky for me. We'll look for another handicap chase next. I have ten horses in training but have loads of room for more.

We thought he might be a real soft ground horse but Paul had a different opinion and said he'd handle it as long as there was a little give in it during the summer. He is owned by a good man (Eoin Barry) who is a big help to me. Eoin is from Tallow and is based in Boston and we had a horse Beantown together which was beaten a neck at Cheltenham (in 2006). He has two or three horses in training with me and is a big help to me.
