An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the bend involving Mogok Valley (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds, interfered with Hiatus (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill and THE X O (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Luke Morris.
Edmunds was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed, taking Hiatus (IRE) off its intended line and crowding THE X O (IRE) against the rail and causing its rider to take a check.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately one furlong out involving Mogok Valley (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds; Revision (GB), placed third, ridden by Franny Norton and Maharajas Express (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope.
Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the incident, the Stewards ordered the placings to remain unaltered as the interference was caused by Mogok Valley (IRE) drifting left-handed, causing Revision (GB) to be intimidated off its intended line and Norton to take a check to prevent his mount running onto the heels of Maharajas Express (GB), before being beaten by a length and a half.
Edmunds was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, causing interference to Revision (GB) and Maharajas Express (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Hiatus (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill, interfered with Mogok Valley (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Lewis Edmunds; Maharajas Express (GB), unplaced, ridden by Daniel Tudhope and the winner, Danger Alert (GB), ridden by William Buick.
O’Neill was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left- handed for a sustained period, which resulted in Edmunds being taken off his intended line and Tudhope having to take a check for a number of strides.
Following the race, Kieran O’Neill reported that Hiatus (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed and Williiam Muir reported that Mogok Valley (IRE), placed fourth, was struck into on both hind legs.
