The Stewards interviewed D.P. Davis, rider of Pacolita, in the presence of Mr. Anthony McCann, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were satisfied that D.P. Davis was in breach of Rule 211 by failing to ride a straight line from his draw position until the marker poles were reached. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned D.P. Davis.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (80 = 9st 12lb)
