Permission was given for Signal Twenty Nine (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring.
The Starter reported that Liberty Power (GB) was unruly in stalls and withdrawn at 8.

The winner, Anisoptera (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Salisbury on 25 April 2021 over 1 mile 6 furlongs, where the filly finished seventh of 14, beaten by 14 lengths.
Brett Johnson's explanation that Anisoptera (IRE) had appreciated a step up in trip to 2 miles and a return to Kempton where she had run well previously, was noted.

The performance of Signal Twenty Nine (GB), which started favourite and finished eighth, was considered.
