The Stewards interviewed C.T. Keane, rider of Room To Roam, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found C.T. Keane in breach of Reg. 10 3. (f) (frequency) and suspended him for 1 race day. The Stewards interviewed D. O'Brien, rider of San Remo, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found D. O'Brien in breach of Reg 10.3.(f) (frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for three race days.
