Permission was given for Tarnhelm (GB) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post.
Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Sleight (GB) refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
Approximately 2½ furlongs out, The Last Knight (IRE), placed fourth, was switched off the heels of a weakening Princess Mayson (IRE), unplaced, resulting in Oasis Law (IRE), unplaced, being moved off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of The Last Knight (IRE).
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that Elektronic (IRE), placed sixth, hung left under pressure and Tracy Waggott reported that Good Night Mr Tom (IRE), unplaced, made a respiratory noise.
