He did it well. His only run was a good one at Leopardstown, and he had the form. He was held up in the spring and we gelded him which knocked the stuffing out of him,. He can go forward from here on. The second horse was rated 93 so we are probably looking at a Listed race or a Premier Handicap. That was his first run of the season so he'll come on from it. E.J. McNamara, rider of Clear Destination (GB), trained by Joseph Quinn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount cocked his jaw and ran out when approaching the turn into the straight. The Stewards enquired into the fall of Sea Captain, ridden by C.R. King, soon after the start of this race and before the road crossing. The riders who rode in this race felt that Sea Captain stumbled and fell independently. C.R. King was unable to give evidence as he was under medical care following his fall. Having considered the reports and viewed a recording of the fall, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and no blame could be apportioned to any other rider.
