The Stewards received a report from Miss Colleen Murphy , Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S.J. Crimin , rider of Alices Man , weighed in at 1.8 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned
Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that S.J. Crimin was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his previous record in this regard, they suspended him for 1 raceday
