Leaving the stalls Himawari (GB), placed fourth, jumped right-handed, hampering Melisende (GB), placed second, in turn leaving Cervaro Della Sala (GB), placed third, short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Melisende (GB), placed second, suffered interference at the start.
