I wasn't sure about the ground today. I know he wants an ease in the ground but before on heavy ground he didn't jump that well. He jumped well today. A novice steeplechase for five years old and upwards which at entry are rated 113 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 114-123)
Weights - 5-y-o 10st 10lbs; 6-y-o and up 11st
Allowances - Horses which, at entry, have not run in two or more steeplechases and/or do not have a published steeplechase rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their steeplechase rating is 123 or less
Penalties - Performances in steeplechases before 12th March - for every 1lb above the rating of 113 1lb extra On or after 12th March - for each steeplechase race won 5lb extra
