An enquiry was held to consider why Oliver Greenall was running No Cruise Yet (GB) here at Huntingdon on going described as Good, having declared the gelding a non-runner at Exeter on 22 October 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that his representative had walked the course at Exeter and in her opinion the going had been firmer than Good.
He added that having walked the course himself today, he was happy to let No Cruise Yet (GB) take its chance.
Following the race, Jeremiah McGrath reported that Andapa (FR), placed third, jumped poorly; Brian Hughes, the rider of Armattiekan (IRE), which was pulled up, and Jack Quinlan, the rider of Lilypad (IRE), unplaced, both reported that their mounts made bad mistakes and were never travelling thereafter.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Scottsdale (GB), placed seventh, lost its right fore shoe.
