Permission was given for Gustav Graves (GB) to wear a red hood to post.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start involving Red Walls (GB), placed second, ridden by John Egan; the winner, Level Up (IRE), ridden by Rossa Ryan and Freedom Flyer (IRE), placed third, ridden by James Sullivan.

Egan was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had switched his free-running mount right-handed around the heels of the leader, Therehegoes (GB), placed sixth, and into the path of Level Up (IRE) causing Ryan to take a significant check and in turn make contact with the hindquarters of Freedom Flyer (IRE).

The winner, Level Up (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 28 March 2023 where the gelding finished seventh of eight, beaten by 8 lengths.

It was noted that the representative of David Evans could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.

Level Up (IRE) was routine tested.

Following the race, Darragh Keenan reported that Gustav Graves (GB), placed fourth, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.

Race 7 - 8:30pm.

THE SKY SPORTS RACING SKY 415 HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Inside the final furlong, the winner, MAY REMAIN, hung right-handed inconveniencing RECKON I’M HOT, unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of MAY REMAIN.

Following the race, Jonathan Fisher reported that MR PC (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and Oisin Murphy reported that REVERSION (IRE), placed fourth, was slowly away.
