An enquiry was held to consider the fall of Fair Loch (GB), which fell at the final fence.
The rider, Henry Brooke, was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Brooke explained that the gelding had enough momentum to jump the final fence, but once inside the wings had slowed at the last minute, causing Fair Loch (GB) to jump awkwardly and fall.
His explanation was noted.
