He is a grand horse, is a big baby and was a June foal and is developing mentally and physically. This race was ideal for him and he had a nice time since Limerick where he ran well. We bought him in the Landrover Sale thanks to J.P. (McManus), he has kept growing and will make a nice chaser. We thought the step up in trip would suit him and it did. We'll look at the final at Punchestown (in April) and will then put him away for fences next year. Unfortunately we lost Sea Ducor at Fairyhouse recently and with the way things are, Hands Of Gold will also be my next runner. A L T Moore, trainer

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that he received a report from the trainer Louise G. Lyons that Man After Midnight had made a noise in running.

A hurdle for four years old and upwards, maidens at starting that are EBF eligible and which had been purchased as an unraced three or four year old at Public Auction under the hammer in Ireland or Great Britain for #45,000 or less at a recognised National Hunt Sale and that have not been purchased at Public Auction under the hammer in Ireland or Great Britain for any more than #45,000 at any time and that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing other than one I.N.H. flat race or N.H. flat race value not more than #12,000
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 11lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 12lbs Mares allowed 7lbs
Riders - 1. Lady Riders who hold a Licence under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim an allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 22nd January) 2.
