Don't Joke (GB), drawn 3, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
Inside the final furlong, Seraphinite (IRE), placed second, hung right-handed, carrying the winner, Fantom Force (IRE), slightly off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Good Times Too (GB), unplaced, ran freely to post.
The performance of Don't Joke (GB), which started favourite and finished eighth, beaten by 12¾ lengths, was considered.
