The representative of Tim Easterby could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Bay Breeze (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The performance of It Just Takes Time (IRE), which started favourite and finished sixth, was considered.
Mark Walford could offer no explanation for the gelding's performance, other than to confirm that Jack Garritty reported that It Just Takes Time (IRE) ran flat.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of It Just Takes Time (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving the winner, Justanotherbottle (IRE), ridden by Sam James and Twelfth Knight (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ryan Sexton.
James was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left when insufficiently clear causing Sexton to have to take a check off heels.
