The winner, Bodyline (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at York on 22 August 2020, where the gelding finished tenth of fourteen, beaten 27½ lengths.
Sir Mark Prescott’s representative explained that Bodyline (IRE) appreciated the return to better ground, which was officially described as Good to Firm on this occasion.
The gelding was routine tested.
