- Stewards Report
Shortly before the line, the winner Heer We Go Again (GB), edged right-handed momentarily causing Star Prize (IRE), placed third, to become unbalanced and in turn make contact with Shoot To Kill (IRE), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Heer We Go Again (GB).
The winner Heer We Go Again (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Windsor on 27 July 2020 where the gelding finished last of eight, beaten by 15 lengths.
The representative of David Evans’ explanation that Heer We Go Again (GB) appreciated the drop back in trip from 6 furlongs to 5 furlongs and benefitted from the re-application of a visor on this occasion, was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
