The Starter reported that Callum Shepherd, the rider of Shoot To Kill (IRE), had originally entered the wrong stall.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, after which Shepherd was cautioned.
Gabriele Malune, the rider of Vandad (IRE), placed fifth, had appeared to stop riding inside the final furlong, before being beaten 1¾ lengths for fourth place.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Malune’s explanation that he felt the colt was uncomfortable and stopped quickly on the Firm, Good to Firm in places going, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Vandad (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Shane Kelly reported that Sir Oliver (IRE), placed fourth, hung left-handed.
