The sponsorship in relation to WHO’S UR DANDY (IRE), trained by Mark Walford, did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.
Walford was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that the correct sponsorship is carried.
Approaching the final furlong, Midgetonamission (IRE), placed fourth, shifted slightly left-handed causing the rider of Ivy Rosie (IRE), placed eighth, to take a precautionary check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Midgetonamission (IRE).
Following the race, David Probert reported that Midgetonamission (IRE), placed fourth, was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong and Laura Coughlan reported that Birkie Girl (GB), placed sixth, hung left-handed inside the final furlong.
