I took a chance running her over a mile as there weren't that many suitable opportunities and it worked out. The slower ground might have helped but the lad who rides her out (amateur rider James Dowling, who partnered his first bumper winner at Roscommon recently) said she was in very good form.

The Stewards requested a report from J. S. Bolger, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Teocht, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer's representative reported that the horse benefited today from the return to a softer surface and the application of a tongue tie. He also added that the yard is now in good form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
