Permission was given for Talking About You (GB) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post.
The performance of Progressive (GB), which started second favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Nicky Henderson’s representative explained that the mare was unsuited by the Good (Good to Soft in Places) going over the 2m 3f 88y trip and would prefer a quicker surface over this distance.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Progressive (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The winner, Stop Talking (IRE), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Sedgefield on 14 January 2022, where the mare finished fifth of seven, beaten 28¼ lengths.
Jennie Candlish explained that Stop Talking (IRE) benefitted from the first-time application of a visor.
