Prior to this race, the representative of John Hanlon was asked to explain the reason why he was running Nasee (GB) here at Huntingdon, on ground described as Good to Soft, Soft in places, having reported that the gelding was unsuited by Good ground, which in their opinion was riding slower than the official description on its previous run at Stratford on 4 July 2023.
The representative explained that the gelding is fit and ready to run following a break, and with Heavy ground currently in Ireland they were happy for him to take his chance here today on Good to Soft, Soft in places.
