Permission was given for Mia Toretto (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection, Estifada (GB) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
The winner, Princess Alex (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Haydock on 21 July 2023 where the filly finished seventh of nine, beaten by 17¼ lengths.
It was noted that the representative of K R Burke could offer no explanation for the filly’s improved form.
Princess Alex (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Jonny Peate reported that Chumbaa (IRE), placed second, reared in the stalls and was slowly away as a result.
