Cooldine made it five on the bounce here with a battling performance to deny the tough effort of Chasing Cars by three parts of length. In the same famous colours of Florida Pearl, Cooldine headed to Thurles earlier in the month in favour of Cheltenham and he came here a warm favourite to continue his winning sequence.

That win looked in doubt momentarily when Chasing Cars battled back after the last to regain the lead with 150 yards to go but he soon tied up again and Cooldine went back in front 50 yards from home to land the spoils.

Chasing Cars put up a bold attempt to make all the running and he was clear at half way before his advantage was reduced three out. He stayed on well and the run should certainly please connections.

Of the winner Willie Mullins remarked, ?He must be a fair machine because he had a very tough race at Thurles and I feared that I was bringing him back too quick here. He will go to Punchestown and I cant wait to see him over fences.?

Woodbine Willie has been ultra consistent this season without really managing to land a big pot and his jumping remains a curtailing factor. He was third for a third consecutive occasion and it will be interesting to see where connections go next.

Aranleigh has failed to fulfil all his promise and he ploughed through the third last without really raising a leg at it at which stage he was a tired horse. Deal Maker was stepping up in class and ran creditably while the running of Noel Meade's horses are again a concern with Rinroe pulled up before five out and both The Dotted Line and Mick The Man never getting into contention.

Paul Carberry (Rinroe) reported that his mount never travelled while the Turf Club Vet found the horse to be post race normal.
