The Stewards requested a report from Noel Meade, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Road To Riches, winner, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this horse got things very much his own way today. He has run poorly when waited-with in the past but seemed to enjoy being more prominently ridden. He also felt he appreciated the drying ground. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
