Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
Tom O’Brien, the rider of the winner, Royal Village, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip in the incorrect place on the run to the line.
Following the race, Richie McLernon reported that Northern Beau (IRE), which was pulled up, was reluctant to race and never travelling and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
