An enquiry was held to consider interference after the final fence, involving the winner Tonto Foley (IRE), ridden by Nick Scholfield and Garde Des Champs (IRE), placed second, ridden by Derek Fox.
Scholfield was cautioned for careless riding as he had failed to take timely action to prevent his mount drifting further left-handed rounding the elbow, carrying Garde Des Champs (IRE) slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer examined Contre Ordre (FR), placed fifth, during routine testing and reported that the gelding was struck into on its right-hind.
