He was carrying a lot of weight and we gelded him which made all the difference,. I told the owner in Australia after the last day that I thought he'd win if we found the right race for him. The only reason we stuck blinkers on him today was that we thought six furlongs was on the sharp side - he wants seven. I wanted a horse for this race as the €10,000 yearling bonus is very important for owners.
