Permission was given for Bulls Aye (IRE) and Eligible (IRE) to go early to post and for Campari (GB) to be mounted on the course and go early to post.
The performance of Markazi (FR), which finished seventh, was considered.
Liam Bailey could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
Markazi (FR) was routine tested.
Approaching the final ½ furlong, Eligible (IRE), placed second, edged right and moved Clay Regazzoni (GB), placed third, off its intended line which in turn caused the rider of Engles Rock (IRE), placed fourth, to ease off heels but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Eligible (IRE).
Following the race, Graham Lee reported that Campari (GB), placed eighth, hung left throughout.
