Permission was given for Symbol of Hope (GB) to wear a red hood to the start, go early to post and be mounted in the chute.
The Starter reported that Vape (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 3:11pm.
John Flint was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Delagate This Lord (GB), drawn 2, was taken out of the stalls after Vape (GB), drawn 3, had been withdrawn due to being unruly in the stalls.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, Delagate This Lord (GB) was deemed fit to race and subsequently reloaded into the stalls.
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that Bluebell Time (IRE), placed sixth, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the mare failed to reveal any abnormalities.
