An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances into how a member of the general public had appeared to gain access to the track approximately one furlong out, where they were able run down the outside running rail during the race.
The Clerk of the Course and the Racecourse Executive were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
Their explanation that they are going to undertake a review of all security procedures to prevent any future incidents from occurring, was noted.
Following the race, Theodore Ladd reported that Dolly Dupree (GB), placed sixth, jumped awkwardly when leaving the stalls.
