He has won a maiden and he stays well. He didn't jump at all in his first race but kept galloping to finish fourth. I knew after that, that if he jumped a little better he'd stay and it was a moderate race. We'll see what mark he gets and handicap hurdles over three miles will be his future. The Stewards interviewed R. Loughran, rider of Therellalwaysbeone, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that R. Loughran was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (e) in that he used his whip on an area other than down the shoulders or on the hindquarters. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended R. Loughran for 1 raceday.
