I'm delighted to see him win because he's been banging on the door and his owner Derek Twiss has been very patient. I thought he would have won a race long before now. We'll see what the handicapper does with him now. Keith said he was much sweeter today than he was last time. It was just too deep last time, I thought he'd be okay on it but he clearly wasn't. He's a big horse and has youth on his side so he'll be alright.

The Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Silvertown, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Punchestown on the 13th February when pulled up in a race won by Young Dev. Gavin Cromwell reported that his charge was stepped up in trip the last day on heavy ground but today reverted back in trip to two miles four furlongs and raced on yielding ground which he felt were contributing factors to the improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
