Lorcan Williams, the rider of Solo (FR), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from after jumping the final fence.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when Solo (FR), placed second, ridden by Lorcan Williams, interfered with the winner, Nassalam (FR), ridden by Jamie Moore.
Williams was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had failed to correct Solo (FR) from drifting left- handed under a right-handed drive, giving a significant bump to Nassalam (FR).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Lord Baddesley (IRE), which was pulled up, lost its right-hind shoe.
