An enquiry was held to consider interference two furlongs out involving Cheeky Blimey (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Benoit de la Sayette, and Takeover Target (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Liam Keniry.
The interference was found to be accidental as Takeover Target (IRE) stepped only marginally right- handed resulting in Cheeky Blimey (IRE) being momentarily short for room.
Following the race, Benoit de la Sayette reported that Cheeky Blimey (IRE), unplaced, hung right- handed.
Race 7 - 5:20pm.
THE VIRGIN BET DAILY PRICES BOOST HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 4) Permission was given for BRAVE NATION (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Leaving the stalls MOJOMAKER (IRE), drawn 8, jumped left-handed bumping and unbalancing SIMPLE MAN (IRE), drawn 9, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no ridding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of MOJOMAKER (IRE).
