The winner, Regal Reality (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Goodwood on 29 July 2022 where the gelding finished eighth of eight, beaten 6¾ lengths.
Sir Michael Stoute’s representative’s explanation that the gelding benefitted from a drop back in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs, from 1 mile 3 furlongs, and a strongly run pace, was noted.
Regal Reality (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Paul & Oliver Cole reported that Majestic Dawn (IRE), placed sixth, had scoped dirty.
