I thought he hadn't got there for a moment. He's a very honest little horse, and we've had to wait a while to get the win. He's been bumped all around the place on his last two runs. We were a bit disappointed the last day and expected a big run today. He wouldn't be in love with that heavy ground but he's all heart. John Higgins bought him as a foal and he loves the horse. The Stewards interviewed R.M. Power, rider of Jimmy Two Times, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that R.M. Power was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and consequently suspended him for 2 racedays having taken his previous record into consideration.

An extended handicap hurdle for five yrs old and upwards (140 = 11st 10lb)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won. Any horse rated above 140 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 11st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 140 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any five year old rated above 140 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
