Permission was given for DEE’S DREAM (IRE), to be mounted in the chute.
It was noted that, leaving the stalls, Silver Sword (GB) jumped sharply left-handed and had refused to race.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Silver Sword (GB) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
As the gelding had also refused to race at Chelmsford on 2nd August 2022, Dylan Cunha was informed that any future similar behaviour from Silver Sword (GB) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The performance of Crown Bridges (IRE), which finished sixth of eight runners and started favourite, was considered.
