Permission was given for Equiami (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong, involving Wake Up Harry (GB), unplaced, ridden by John Egan and Wadacre Grace (GB), unplaced, ridden by Franny Norton.
The interference was found to be accidental as Wake Up Harry (GB) stepped left-handed, before being quickly corrected by Egan, causing Norton to take a precautionary check.
The performance of Wake Up Harry (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Brian Toomey could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance other than a report from John Egan that Wake Up Harry (GB) stopped quickly.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Intricate Pillar (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by racing wide.
