Prior to this race, an enquiry was held to consider why K R Burke, was running She Looks Like Fun (GB) here at Doncaster on going described as Good to Firm, Good in Places, having declared the filly a non- runner at Pontefract on 1 May 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainer’s representative stated that having walked both courses, they felt that the going at Pontefract was quicker than the going here at Doncaster given recent rainfall, and were happy for She Looks Like Fun (GB) to take her chance.
Following the race, Eoin Walsh reported that Puffthemagicdragon (GB), unplaced, missed the break and Gabriele Malune reported that Doncaster Rosa (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
