He won over 1m4f at Dundalk but being a bumper winner, we always thought he wanted further than this (1m2f),. He is 17 hands and maybe has now got a bit stronger and I was pleased with both of them (also runner-up Le Vagabond). Both will go to Punchestown for a couple of handicap hurdles next and will mix it for the summer.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Jaqen H'Ghar, ridden by D. O'Brien, Le Vagabond (FR), ridden by W.J. Lee, and Turbine, ridden by G.P. Halpin. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that G.P.Halpin was in breach of Rule 214, in that he rode carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for one race day. D. O'Brien, rider of Jaqen H'Ghar trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the straight.
An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (100 = 9st 12lb)
