The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Thunderbear, trained by Jack W. Davison, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Coachello (FR), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth, and Big Gossey, ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. T. Keane stated that the other horse edged out but it did not effect him. R. Whearty stated that he edged out into the gap. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
