An enquiry was held to consider why Charlie Longsdon was running Treackle Tart (IRE) here at Doncaster on going described as Soft (Good to Soft in Places), having declared the mare a non-runner at Cheltenham yesterday, 13 December 2019, on ground with the same official description.
The trainer stated that after walking the course at Cheltenham, in his opinion the ground had been tacky, and as the ground here today has been lightly raced on, he was happy for Treackle Tart (IRE) to take its chance.
