Permission was given for Tillybob (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Dynamite Katie (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood and be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Reputation (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by James Sullivan; The Toff (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Dynamite Katie (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Egan.
The interference was found to be accidental as Sullivan had switched Reputation (IRE) left-handed and committed for a legitimate gap between The Toff (IRE) and Dynamite Katie (IRE), just prior to a weakening The Toff (IRE) hanging right-handed at the same time as Dynamite Katie (IRE) moved slightly left-handed away from the whip before being corrected by Egan, resulting in Reputation (IRE) giving a hefty bump to The Toff (IRE), which became unbalanced and was moved off its intended racing line.
Following the race, Alex Jary reported that Tillybob (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed.
