Having reviewed recordings of both of the false starts, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race when the winner Crystal Moon (IRE), ridden by Gavin Sheehan had interfered with Largy Nights (IRE), placed second, ridden by Lilly Pinchin shortly after jumping the second last fence.
Having heard the evidence, the Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Crystal Moon (IRE)’s placing as Crystal Moon (IRE) shifted quickly right-handed giving a bump to Largy Nights (IRE) causing Pinchin to become unbalanced and shifted slightly off her intended line but lost little momentum and was beaten 2 ¾ lengths at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Sheehan took all reasonable steps to correct his mount from shifting right-handed.
